These are just a few of the birds, cats & dogs that were rescued by PAWS volunteers. PAWS stands for PAJ ANIMAL WELFARE SOCIETY and we’re acting on behalf of those without a voice. We aim to enlighten residents & minimize the amount of strays on the streets. We need volunteers, & funding for food, medical bills, carriers, traps and other expenses. Soon our town will have our very own animal sanctuary. Join our Facebook group for more success stories and don’t forget to let us know if you lose a pet or looking to adopt one.
VISION
PAJ PAWS’s vision is to drive access to veterinary care for animals in financially compromised circumstances. Our programs, focus activities and methods are geared for sustainability and country wide sector organisational application.
Our future strategies and aspirations are grounded in the development and capacitation of the animal welfare sector, the prevention of donor funding dilution and the securing of effective impact to combat the dire lack of veterinary service for poor communities and their animals.

PAJ Community Patrollers are the proud individuals who keep our area safe and secure. They are the individuals who make sure that our area is clean, free of debris, and free of pests.
This PAJ Community Patroller’s job is not easy. They are required to patrol the area before and after hours to ensure that it remains safe for its residents. These PAJ Community Patrollers put their lives on the line in service of those they serve.
The work does not stop there, however. In order to make sure that their neighborhoods stay beautiful all year round they must also do tasks like picking up litter, patrolling areas with high crime rates during daylight hours, and enforcing parking restrictions.
